Eliminate redundant facilities-related systems and data silos with FacilityForce's integrated solution.
In the past, organizations would implement specialized software systems (point solutions) for specific functional areas (such as maintenance, real estate, capital planning, utilities/energy, financials, etc.) and in many cases, the separate agencies/departments within large organizations would each have their own systems. With so many disparate systems however, gathering and aligning the data across an organization for enterprise-wide reporting, prioritizing of projects, and aligning to the overall mission was a monumental task, if possible at all.
Today however, there's a solution type called an integrated workplace management system (IWMS) that combines the capabilities of a real estate & lease management system, capital project management system, facility management system, maintenance management system and energy management system into a single, integrated software solution. Additionally, with a well-designed and scaleable IWMS, large organizations can deploy a single IWMS across multiple agencies/departments and even statewide or enterprise-wide.
The benefits of an enterprise-wide solution are far-reaching and strategic. With a single, centralized source of facility and asset data for the entire organization, so much becomes possible. Several examples include: the ability to benchmark facility performance across the entire organization, stack-rank capital improvement projects and prioritize them based on alignment to the organization's mission, determine a true total cost of ownership that includes ALL costs related to an asset (e.g., purchase, maintenance, parts, energy consumption, etc.), and so much more.
An Integrated Workplace Management System (IWMS Software) incorporates the capabilities of various point solutions such as CMMS, CAFM, REPM, CPM, and EAM systems in a single, integrated platform.
Although FacilityForce can be called an IWMS, we prefer to call it Facilities Resource Planning (FRP) because it goes beyond the capabilities of IWMS software to address the unique needs of government and commercial organizations.
